Dimple Patel has been with RBL Bank for over 10 years. Let’s know more about her journey.
Q: From your first day to today - what's the one value at RBL Bank that has remained constant and continues to inspire you?
A: Fairness- Fairness in dealing with customers, employees and other stakeholders is something that has remained constant in RBL Bank since I joined and inspires me to remain with this organization.
Q: What's your proudest achievement at the Bank, and how did the organization enable it?
A: Being a member of the team that established the corporate servicing structure implemented in 2015, has been the highlight of my journey in the Bank. The enhanced role played by this team in managing several facets of the corporate book of the Bank, has been possible due to the vision and support of the management.
Q: Which aspects of the Bank’s culture have been most empowering in your professional journey?
A: The adhocratic environment in the organization has empowered me to contribute and add value where I could.
Q: How has the Bank supported your growth both as a professional and as an individual?
A: The opportunities provided by the organization in the last 10 years in corporate banking have contributed to my growth in my banking career, and I am thankful to the Bank for that. During the journey, I learned leadership traits, people management and crisis management, which have also contributed to my personal development.
Q: Looking back at your journey, what would you tell other women about building a career at RBL Bank?
A: I have always believed that women have to stand up for themselves and, more importantly, for what is right. Sustained championing of this cause will create empowerment. RBL Bank has constantly endeavoured to create an environment that supports gender neutrality and is a great place to work for any woman.
