Following are the eligibility criteria:

  • Resident Indian & Indian National

  • Holding valid Aadhaar and PAN

  • Using mobile number linked with the Aadhaar

  • Residing in cities where RBL Bank has branches

  • Does not have an existing Savings Account or Fixed Deposit with RBL Bank

Your mobile number associated with your Aadhaar card will receive an OTP to continue with opening the Savings Account of your choice.

Enter your information online, and we'll get in touch with you to set up an appointment with a representative to continue the request.

Once you submit all the information, we will display your account information on the screen. It will also be included in your welcome kit and forwarded to your email address.

With any Indian bank, you are only permitted to open one OTP-based account. You cannot open an online account with RBL Bank if you already have an OTP-based account with another bank.

You can instantly sign up for our Internet Banking by visiting our website, www.rblbank.com, and using your Customer ID and PAN Number. Additionally, to have the convenience of on-the-go account access, download the RBL MoBank App on your smartphone through the Google Play Store, App Store, or Windows Phone Store.

At the time of account opening or as part of the initial funding for your Savings Account or Fixed Deposit, you may credit a maximum of INR 1,00,000.

The important verifications related to accounts opened using Aadhaar OTP are listed below:

- Your total account balance, including any Fixed Deposits, must not exceed INR 1,00,000.

- A financial year's total credit must not exceed INR 2,00,000.

- We advise finishing your in-person verification within six months of the account opening date. If this is not done within a year, your account will be closed.

Generate your Debit Card PIN by choosing any option

  • Login to RBL MoBank App > ‘Manage Your Cards’ > ‘Change PIN’

  • Login to Internet Banking > Click on ‘Request’> Choose ‘Debit Card’> Choose ‘Debit Card PIN set/ reset’

  • Type SMS: PIN space < last 4 digits of your Debit Card No. > space < your Customer ID > space < 4 digits PIN of your choice > Send to 9223366333

No, the information would be obtained from the Aadhaar Card database as it is, thus it cannot be changed when a digital savings account is opened.

The Bank reserves the right to completely freeze the account until the customer completes the entire KYC process if the balance in the Digital Savings Account exceeds INR 1 lakh, cumulative credit values exceed INR 2 lakhs in a financial year, or in-person verification is not completed within a year of the account being opened.

No, once your full KYC is complete, these restrictions are lifted. You can benefit from a cumulative deposit of more than INR 2 lakhs in a financial year and an extended account balance of more than INR 1 lakh.

A virtual debit card with no annual fees is included with a digital saving account. It is known as a Virtual Debit Card since it is a digital card rather than a physical card. It can be used for bill payment, online shopping, recharges, scan-and-pay at retail locations, and more.

Through the- RBL MoBank App, you can access your Virtual Debit Card. Access RBL MoBank App >> On the home page, click the RBL Bank icon >> Your Debit Card Management >> Learn more about your Virtual Debit Card >> Use the CVV and card number for all transactions.

Once you've set up the Digital Savings Account, your Virtual Debit Card will be accessible through the RBL MoBank App.
